To install a custom SSL certificate on your WPGO website, follow these organized steps:

  1. Access the SSL Wizard:

    • Log into your WPGO dashboard.
    • Navigate to the specific domain where you want to install the SSL certificate.
  2. Manage SSL Certificates:

    • Click on "Manage" next to the SSL Certificate option. If replacing an existing certificate, look for a "Change" button instead of "Add."
  3. Select Custom SSL:

    • Choose the "Custom SSL Certificate" option to indicate you are providing your own certificate.
  4. Upload/Submit Files:

    • Private Key: Upload or paste the private key file.
    • SSL Certificate: Upload or paste the SSL certificate file.
    • CA Bundle: Ensure you provide the full CA bundle (root and intermediate certificates) as provided by your Certificate Authority.
  5. Proceed with Changes: Click "Change" to submit your files for installation. The process may take up to 10 minutes, after which the SSL will be active.

  6. CDN Sync (if applicable):

    • If using a CDN service through Esadax, click the "Sync" button to ensure the SSL is also applied on the CDN.
  7. Backup Private Key: Store your private key securely as it may be needed for future re-installation or use on another server.

  8. Access SSL Wizard Again: Return to the SSL wizard via your website domains in the dashboard for further management.

Important Notes:

  • Ensure you provide the correct CA bundle and associate files correctly.
  • Allow up to 10 minutes for SSL activation.
  • Both WPGO and CDN must have the SSL applied for optimal security.
