To install a custom SSL certificate on your WPGO website, follow these organized steps:

  1. Access the SSL Wizard:

    • Navigate to the specific domain in your WPGO dashboard where you want to install the SSL.
  2. Manage SSL Certificates:

    • Click on "Manage" next to the SSL Certificate. If renewing, look for a "Change" button instead of "Add."
  3. Select Custom SSL Option:

    • Choose "Custom SSL Certificate" to indicate you are providing your own certificate.
  4. Upload/Enter Files:

    • Private Key: Upload or paste the private key file. Store this securely.
    • SSL Certificate: Upload or paste the SSL certificate file.
    • CA Bundle: Use the full bundle provided by your Certificate Authority (CA). Ensure it includes root and intermediate certificates.
  5. Submit Changes:

    • Click "Change" to proceed with the submission. This may take up to 10 minutes for activation.
  6. CDN Sync (If Applicable):

    • If using a CDN, click the "Sync" button to ensure the SSL is installed there as well.
  7. Backup Private Key:

    • Keep your private key secure, as it may be needed again.
  8. Access SSL Wizard Again:

    • Return to the SSL wizard via your website domains in the dashboard for future needs.

Considerations:

  • Use the correct CA bundle to avoid certificate issues.
  • Store private keys securely to prevent loss.
  • Expect up to 10 minutes for SSL activation.
