To upload the php.ini file for your addon domain on Esadax Shared Hosting, follow these steps:

Step 1: Access cPanel

  • Log in to your cPanel account using your credentials:
    https://cpanel.yourdomain.com

  • Replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name.

Step 2: Navigate to File Manager

  • In cPanel, navigate to File Management > File Upload or search for "File Manager" in the navigation bar.
  • This will open the File Manager interface where you can upload files.

Step 3: Upload php.ini File

  1. In the File Manager, locate the folder for your addon domain. The path may vary, but it is typically:

    /home/cPanel_username/path_to_the_folder/

Replace cPanel_username with your actual cPanel username and path_to_the_folder with the correct directory of your addon domain.

  2. Click Browse to select the php.ini file from your computer or use a drag-and-drop feature if available.

  3. After uploading, rename the file to php.ini. Ensure the case is correct (lowercase "p" and "i").

Step 4: Verify Upload

  • Confirm that the php.ini file has been uploaded successfully to the addon domain's root directory.
  • If you used SSH, run the command:
    cp /opt/alt/default_php_ini/phpXX.ini /home/cPanel_username/path_to_the_folder/php.ini

Replace XX with your desired PHP version and adjust paths as needed.

Step 5: Restart Apache (if necessary)

  • After uploading, restart Apache to apply changes:
    systemctl restart apache2
