To install an SSL certificate in Vesta Control Panel, follow these steps:

  1. Download the SSL Certificate: After obtaining your SSL certificate, download it from your Esadax account.

  2. Log in to Vesta CP: Access your Vesta Control Panel using your credentials.

  3. Navigate to SSL Settings:

    • In Vesta CP, go to WEB > select the relevant domain > click Edit.
  4. Enable SSL Support:

    • On the SSL/TLS Configuration page, ensure that SSL support is enabled by checking the appropriate option (e.g., "Use SSL").
  5. Upload Certificate Files:

    • Upload your SSL certificate file (CRT) in the designated field.
    • Locate and upload your private key file (KEY).
    • Upload your Certificate Authority (CA) bundle if required.
  6. Save Changes: Click Save to apply the changes.

  7. Verify Installation:

    • Ensure that the SSL/TLS settings are correctly configured for your domain.
    • Test your website using HTTPS to confirm the SSL certificate is active.

Note: Vesta CP does not store private keys by default. Always backup your private key after generation. If you lose access, use the recovery method provided in Vesta CP to restore it.
