To enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for your Webmail using Esadax, follow these organized steps:

  1. Access Webmail: Log in to your Webmail via the cPanel or the dedicated Webmail portal (e.g., mail.esadax.com).

  2. Navigate to 2FA Settings: Once logged in, locate and access the Two-Factor Authentication section within the account settings. This can typically be found under a security or account management menu.

  3. Set Up 2FA Method: Choose your preferred 2FA method. Common options include SMS codes, authenticator apps (like Google Authenticator or Authy), or backup codes. Follow any on-screen instructions to set this up.

  4. Receive Verification Code: After setting up, you'll receive a verification code via your chosen method. This could be an SMS, an authenticator app notification, or generated on your device.

  5. Enter Verification Code: On the Webmail login page, after entering your password, look for the option to enter the 2FA security code. Input the received code here.

  6. Handle Code Validity: Be aware that codes are valid for sixty seconds. If using an app that generates new codes frequently, ensure you use the most recent code within this timeframe.

  7. Backup Codes: Consider creating backup codes as an additional security measure to avoid potential access issues. Store these securely.

  8. Troubleshooting: If encountering issues, revisit the cPanel for management options or consult support if needed.
