1. Activate SSL through Esadax

  • Contact Support: Reach out via email (sslsupport@esadax.com) or live chat (available at https://www.esadax.com/help-center/live-chat/).
  • Provide your server details and domain name for SSL activation.

2. Pass Domain Control Validation

  • Create CNAME Record: Log into your domain provider's dashboard and add a CNAME record pointing to esadax.com or ns1.esadax.com.
  • Ensure the DNS settings are correct; some providers may require specific configurations.

3. Obtain SSL Certificate Files

  • After validation, Esadax will provide:
    • CSR (Certificate Signing Request): Used to generate your certificate.
    • Private Key: Essential for SSL installation.
    • Intermediate Certificate: If required by your server.

4. Install SSL on Your Server

Choose the control panel or server software you're using:

a. cPanel/WHM

  • Upload Certificates: Use File Manager in cPanel to upload the CSR, private key, and intermediate certificate.
  • Configure SSL: Go to WHM → Service Management → SSL/TLS → Add Domain.

b. Plesk

  • Upload Certificates: Navigate to Plesk Admin Panel → SSL/TLS → Upload Certificate.
  • Enable SSL: Set the certificate as active in the same section.

c. DirectAdmin

  • Upload Files: Use the file manager to upload your SSL files.
  • Enable SSL: Go to Services → Domain Settings and enable SSL for your domain.

d. VestaCP

  • Upload Certificates: In VestaCP, go to SSL/TLS → Add Domain and upload your files.
  • Configure HTTPS: Ensure HTTPS is enabled in the same section.

e. Webmin

  • Upload Files: Use the file manager within Webmin to upload your SSL files.
  • Set HTTPS Redirect: Configure HTTPS settings to redirect HTTP traffic to HTTPS.

f. Apache HTTPD/Nginx/IIS

  • Upload Certificates: Depending on your server, use FTP or SFTP to transfer files to the appropriate directory (e.g., /etc/ssl/apache for Apache).
  • Configure SSL: Edit the configuration file (e.g., apache.conf for Apache) and set up SSL directives. Restart Apache after changes.

5. Set Up HTTPS Redirect

  • Ensure that all traffic on port 80 (HTTP) is redirected to port 443 (HTTPS). This can be done via your control panel or server configuration files.

6. Verify Installation

  • Test your SSL setup by accessing your website using https://yourdomain.com.
  • Check the SSL/TLS status in your control panel to ensure everything is active.

7. Remote Assistance

  • If you encounter issues, Esadax offers remote installation assistance via chat or email.
