Git Connection

Link your project to a Git provider like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket to enable automatic Deployments for every commit you push.

Why Connect a Git Repository?

Connecting your Git repository allows Esadax to:

  • Deploy automatically on every commit or merge.
  • Create preview deployments for pull/merge requests.
  • Show commit history and metadata in your project dashboard.
  • Enable CI/CD workflows out of the box.

Supported Providers

You can connect your repository from any of the following providers:

  • GitHub GitHub
  • GitLab GitLab
  • Bitbucket Bitbucket

Don't see your provider? You can still deploy manually using our CLI or API.

How to Connect

  1. Navigate to your Project Settings.
  2. Select Git Connection.
  3. Choose your Git provider and authorize access.
  4. Select the repository and branch you want to connect.

Once connected, any changes pushed to the specified branch will automatically trigger a Deployment on Esadax.

Git-Based Workflow

  • Push code → Esadax builds and deploys it.
  • Open a PR/MR → Esadax creates a Preview Deployment.
  • Merge PR/MR → Esadax updates your Production Deployment.

This setup ensures continuous integration and streamlined developer workflows with minimal effort.

Security & Access

When connecting a Git provider, you control what repositories Esadax has access to. You can revoke permissions at any time from your Git provider’s settings.
